Spring Happenings at St. Luke

Can you feel it...the sky is blue, the wind is picking up, & spring is on it's way!!!
Here are some things going on the next few weeks:
>Starting 3/14 there will be a basket in the Narthez fro everyone to bring eggs for our Family Easter Picnic on the Saturday before Easter.

>Palm Sunday is 3/28 & as traditional all the kids are invited to process into the Sanctuary waving palm branches & ribbons, just meet in the Choir room before each service (9 & 11am).

>Our Family Easter Picnic will be held in the courtyard this year from 11-1 on Saturday 4/3. Each family needs to bring there own picnic lunch & I will provide games & also we will have a very special visitor.

>This Easter we are going to boldly "Imagine No Malaria" & so the kids will be a part of this by once again processing into the start of each service (9 & 11am) this time with daisies. The bed nets distributed to the people in Africa use daisy nectar as the agent to kill the mosquito.

>This Earth Day 4/22, join us as we go see "OCEANS" the latest movie from Disney celebrating the wonder of God's creation. We will see an afternoon showing (430ish), so that school kids can come. More info coming....

Join us as we enjoy Spring & celebrate the Resurrection of our Lord this Easter!

"St. Luke UMC teaching kids to KNOW God, GROW in God, and SHOW God to others."
Join us this year as we strive to help kids KNOW, GROW, & SHOW!! We will change lives, not just here but as far away as Africa as we "Imagine No Malaria" and then take a "Galactic Blast" for VBS. We will learn about giving back in our 2nd year of "Mission Possible" and strive to take Bible stories and make them apply to our lives in Sunday school. This is a Children's Ministry on the move, one interested and invested in making disciples for change in this world and giving children the tools to make that change happen NOW.
